05 January April 2007: A cloaking device has been presented for first time in all Japan (04 January, 2007), at Nagoya Institute of Technology by G. Zouganelis. In the next figure, the Near Field calculation of an "invisible missile" based in this design, under the incidence of a plane EM wave, is presented. A more recent design than ours made at Purdue University-USA is presented here . Our device does not use active elements. Our design can be used for frequencies higher than 12 GHz and the thickness of its coating can be designed even thinner.
05 January April 2007: New design rules have been found to design LTCC devices based on metamaterials. By using these new design rules LTCC devices can be more compact.
22 April 2007: A metamaterial with large enhancement of its magnetic permeability (250%) has been designed and measured at low frequency (see more about it in "Research").
26 May 2007: A new paper, which is a recent update on Luneburg lens with construction based on metamaterials and presents some ideas on stealth technology has been added (see more about it in "Publications").
23 June 2007: A perfect radome has been designed by using metamaterials (see "Research").
24 June 2007: One more cloaking device has been designed. In this design, the invisible object is a flat object of finite size. The metamaterial which can be used for coating is reliable at short time and even at small dimensions of device. It can be used against of smart coatings or controlled systems.
22 July 2007: New reliable designs for ultrafast communications, using metamaterials.
28 July 2007: More kinds of complicate cloaking devices have been designed. They have been made by different ways of design philosophy.
07 August 2007: Definition of metamatterials (Update). Upgrade of a patent of Raytheon Co, USA on metamaterials based absorbers. A very nice patent.
12 October 2007: There is no "stealth" object, which cannot be seen.
